For almost a year, my CD/DVD drive has been useless. The track pad and pretty much entire keyboard area has been discolored. For the last 4 months, my battery has been dead.
Why so long, I couldn't see myself function without my dear Giovanna (yes, she has a name).
So, I finally left my damaged, "well loved" MacBook in Providence, RI last Sunday.
Guess what? She arrived this morning looking brand new. I nearly wept with joy. I caressed the power button without plugging in to a power source...oh, my, did she light up. gently let the drive take my Cobra Starship CD....oh, yes, she played the sweet sounds! Her pure and glistening body showed few blemishes....Giovanna was born again my friends.
And that, is why I have a secret love affair with Apple. But, don't worry...my husband does too.
